1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the website, courses, programs, and services offered by The Oboe Education Hub ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you ("User," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, students, and any other individuals who access our platform, including The Oboe School (free community), The Oboe Path, and The Oboe Trailhead.
2. Description of Services
The Oboe Education Hub provides online music education services for oboists, including:
- Free community membership (The Oboe School)
- Paid instructional programs including The Oboe Path and The Oboe Trailhead
- Live and recorded webinars, including Oboist Convos events
- Downloadable course materials, handouts, and resources
- One-on-one personal coaching sessions
- Email communications and community engagement
3. Eligibility
Our services are intended for users aged 16 and older. By using our services, you represent that you meet this minimum age requirement. Users between the ages of 16 and 18 should have parental or guardian consent.
4. User Accounts and Registration
4.1 Account Creation
To access certain features, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information and to keep this information updated.
4.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at director@oboepath.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
4.3 Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other legitimate business reason, with or without notice.
5. Payments, Refunds, and Subscriptions
5.1 Pricing
All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise specified. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time with reasonable notice.
5.2 Payment Processing
Payments are processed by third-party payment processors. By making a purchase, you agree to their terms and conditions. We do not store full payment card information on our servers.
5.3 Refund Policy
Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of purchase by emailing director@oboepath.com. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. Completed coaching sessions or downloaded materials may not be eligible for refund.
5.4 Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting us to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending investigation.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Ownership
All content on our platform — including videos, audio recordings, course materials, handouts, written content, logos, and branding — is the intellectual property of The Oboe Education Hub or our licensors and is protected under Canadian copyright law and applicable international law.
6.2 Limited License
Upon enrollment in a paid program, we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use the course materials for your own educational purposes only.
6.3 Prohibited Uses
You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, sublicense, publicly display, create derivative works from, or use our content for any commercial purpose without our express written consent.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use our services for any unlawful purpose
- Share your account login credentials with others
- Upload or share content that is offensive, defamatory, or infringes on another's rights
- Interfere with the operation of the platform or attempt to gain unauthorized access
- Use our platform to transmit spam, malware, or other harmful content
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
8. Community Standards
Members of The Oboe School and any community spaces we operate agree to engage respectfully. We reserve the right to remove content or members who violate our community standards, including behavior that is harassing, discriminatory, or disruptive.
9. Disclaimers
Our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of our content for any particular purpose. Music education results vary by individual effort, background, and practice.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Canadian law, The Oboe Education Hub, its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in question in the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. Third-Party Links and Services
Our platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of those third parties. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.
12. Meta / Facebook Advertising
We use Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising platforms to promote our services. By using our website or services, you acknowledge that:
- We may use Meta Pixel and other Meta tools to track website interactions for advertising purposes
- You may see ads from us on Facebook and Instagram based on your interactions with our website
- You can manage your ad preferences through your Facebook or Instagram account settings
- Meta's data practices are governed by Meta's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Saskatchewan, Canada.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

3.1 To Provide Services
- Process enrollments, payments, and program access
- Deliver course content, coaching sessions, and instructional materials

- Prepare personalized warm-ups and coaching materials from intake information

- Create and display targeted advertisements on Meta platforms
- Build Custom Audiences and Lookalike Audiences on Meta for advertising purposes
- Measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns

4. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR / UK GDPR)
For users in the EU and UK, we process personal data under the following legal bases:

5. Meta Pixel and Advertising Data
